Youssef Alsamarai is back with another Shopify course, this time called Wolves eCommerce which is a slightly longer course on how to start your own drop shipping store by following his training.
Cutting straight to the chase, the course is very short and a slightly longer version of his older course, Tiger eCommerce which I reviewed recently too and it was very short, less than 25 videos and 2 hours of content.
This course also focuses on Print on Demand whereas Tiger focuses on Aliexpress.
Who is Youse Alsamarai?
You’ll either know him or you won’t as his username is simply Yous and there’s limited information about him online. He does have a large following, over 70,000 subscribers and most videos seem to go viral.
Youse claims to be a social media marketing expert and successful Facebook and Youtube Ads entrepreneur. Starting young at 17 he claims to have a long way and now makes most of his money consulting and teaching others how to make money online.
Most of his videos are insightful and there isn’t much clickbait or fake supercars to overhype his courses.
Wolves eCommerce Review
You need to look past the extensive revenue figures and testimonials on the sales page and look at the actual content and price of $198. The content is hosted on Teachable which is a good platform for viewing content on both mobile and desktop.
Videos are high quality and the audio is fine too.
It’s clear Youse knows what he’s talking about, but some people are born for the camera so it’s unclear if it’s from personal success or simply to sell the course.
The course is split up into the following modules:
- Product Research
- Facebook Ads
- Instagram Secret
- Print on Demand
- Store Setup
- Fulfil your first order
- Instagram growth
- Social Intelligence
- Live Store reviews
- American Drop Shipping.
Compared to his previous course, Tiger eCommerce I’m pleased to say there is more content and the videos are longer. There is some double ups, i.e. videos that have been included in both courses so you’ll likely experience that if you buy both.
The welcome video is 23 seconds and gives an insight into the course. There’s a private mastermind group you can join and also a link to get one on one coaching from Youse himself.
The first module is about product research and shows a four part method for finding hidden gems. I won’t spoil the content for you but it’s not as ground breaking as the course sales page makes out.
The Facebook Ads section is the exact same as Tiger eCommerce which offers a seven video insight into how to get started and setup. If you compare this to other courses that offer 50+ Facebook Ads videos you can see just how short this module is.. it’s also lacking a lot of recent updates.
There’s an Instagram secret method again the same as Tiger. Nothing secret, it’s pretty common knowledge.
You get a new strategy for this course called Print on Demand and shows you how to setup with a company to use this with your Shopify store. There’s a comparison as to why it’s more lucrative than using Aliexpress.
There’s a section on store setup. Unlike Tiger this module is split up into shorter videos rather than one super long video. The course focuses on setting up a print on demand business but you could apply the same techniques to any store.
There is two modules on Instagram growth and how to create and grow a brand account. It’s clear Youse knows what he’s talking about in this section and that makes sense if he’s a social media marketing consultant.
Lastly there is some videos on live store reviews and a module on how to get started with American drop shipping.
Finally there is a list of verified suppliers to use. There are likely only going to be useful for US residents or those who have US companies as it’s unlikely they will work with overseas nationals that don’t hold a social security number or reseller ID.
The course was short and given the price of $198 it’s probably fairly priced but could offer lots more content. There is a real lack of Instagram Ads content and the Facebook Ads section is quite basic and hasn’t been updated from his old course. The store creation and product research videos are reasonable in length and quality.
It gives a good insight into Print on Demand and is a much cheaper course compared to other POD courses out there that usually cost $1,997.
I’m surprised there is no other marketing methods mentioned such as Google Ads, Instagram or even a rare social media platform such Snapchat given Youse claims to be a social media expert.
If you compare this to other drop shipping courses such as eCom Elites (review) ($197) that offer five times the content at the same price and over 175+ videos and a private Facebook mastermind group with 5,000+ other members it’s easy to see how much more value you could get from other eCommerce courses.
I had high hopes for Wolves eCommerce, it’s a huge improvement on Tiger but it’s got a long way to go before it could be the best drop shipping course in my opinion.
