Vince Wang is a YouTuber and entrepreneur who claims to have made a lot of money with drop shipping by a Shopify. And today we will be looking at his course, which is called drop shipping 101 which you can purchase for $997 from Vince Wang Education.
Vince Wang's name comes up in a lot of other YouTubers videos, and I decided I would finally check out what he's all about. And ultimately what his course is all about as well.
As you know, I review a lot of dropshipping courses on this blog, so today we will be looking at what his course offers and ultimately, whether it's worth the money or not.
Who is Vince Wang?
For those of you that are familiar with Vince Wang, then you will know that he posts a lot of videos on YouTube where he aims to flaunt his wealth.
An example of this is his endless videos with his red Lamborghini. Now, I don't know much about Supercars but I do know one thing, the Lamborghini Gallardo that he has is one of the cheapest Lamborghini's that you can purchase. But like most guru's its most likely leased.
When you look at all the other YouTubers that have got Huracan's and Aventadors that cost about five times the amount of his car, I would not be going around showcasing this as a product of success from drop shipping.
As everybody knows, you can lease a supercar in the United States for as little as $2,000 per month, so you really need to look past these videos where he is showing off his cars to sell his e-commerce products.
He currently only has 1,600 subscribers and has been making videos for the last couple of years. He's stopped posting in recent months.
Most of the videos talk about cars, whether that's his Audi R8 or his Lamborghini. Additionally to that, he has a series of videos called the biggest gainer.
Aside from that, there aren't many other videos on his channel aside from investments that he has made and where he discusses a few things about his life.
Vince Wang Dropshipping 101 Review.
Vince's course is a fairly short six week introduction into the world of drop shipping. While he claims that it is a complete a to Z on creating your eCommerce business, I am not convinced that you will learn a enough in this rather short video training series.
It's currently broken down into six modules:
- Introduction, Mindset, Preparation
- Winning Products
- Facebook Ads
Course Content Overview
In module one you will learn how to join his private Facebook group, how to learn. About the course, how to a ply, the right mindset to get the best results in whatever you do, and ultimately how the business model breaks down.
Module two looks at the fundamentals and is basically like a foundations module where you will learn how to build your first Shopify store the right way, using Vince Wang's methodology.
You will use a premium template to maximize conversions. If you are looking for a premium template, I've done a review on some of the best drop shipping themes that you can purchase right now.
You will then learn how to set up email, email addresses, payment processors, all the legal pages, all the basic applications that you will install additionally on your store.
You will then learn how to set up your Facebook business account manager, and this is followed by some short videos on the Facebook pixel, product feeds and product catalogs.
Module three looks at product research and finding winning products.
The videos in this section include how to find winning products that will actually make you money and the differences between a good or bad product. You will then learn how profit margins work and how you can set up your profit margin to maximize conversions and profits.
You will then learn how to get your product ready, including adding this to your store, using many different types of images, product descriptions, and reviews to sell your products.
The course doesn't really look at many ways to find winning products. For example, there are a wide variety of tools that will allow you to find winning products online.
One of these is called sell the trend, which I recommend you learn about.
Module four looks at your Facebook ads campaign and building this out the correct way. You will learn how to set up Facebook ads for products and you will learn how to understand and make use of your metrics and how to customize them.
Module five looks at the results and how you can tell whether you are profitable or unprofitable. And ultimately, whether you're going in the right or wrong direction, you will learn what the metrics mean and what they mean for your sales funnel.
You will learn how to scale your successful ads and how to kill or readjust ads that are not profitable.
Module six then follows on from this and shows you how to scale properly without losing your return on investment. You will learn the different ways to scale a campaign as recommended by Vince Wang, and then you will learn how to go from $100 a day to $1,000 per day.
Additionally to the course content, you do get access to three bonuses. One of these includes a mindset for success, which is Vince Wang's BS way of telling you how to get in the game for drop shipping.
Given you're going to purchase a course for $1,000, chances are you probably already have the right mindset or else you will lose your money. Another module is about building credit and how you can choose the best credit cards to do this. This will then allow you to drive a Lamborghini like Vince Wang.
Ultimately, if you don't have a good credit score, no one is going to give you credit for a $3,000 a month loan. personally, this business model will not work for anyone outside the United States.
If you're from a different country, this module is probably irrelevant to you.
The last bonus is live calls in the Facebook group every week.
Apparently this is worth $2,000 however, I cannot see it myself. I also don't see live coals in the Facebook group every week given that this course was created over one year ago and doesn't look like it's been updated since.
It's obvious to me that Vince Wang is a fake it till you make it type of guy using Lamborghinis to flaunt his wealth and then ultimately try and sell people on the idea of success through a drop shipping course. The course fee is $997 which is a lot of money for most people.
If the first thing you're going to do at the age of 20 is to rush out and buy a Lamborghini, rather than invest in your future and invest in other business interests, I think that there is ulterior motives there.
However, that does not mean that Vince Wang actually knows what he's talking about. The course is fairly straight forward, it's no different to the thousands of other guys doing the same thing.
Create Youtube channel, get nice car, claim to make a fortune, tell others how to do the same, disappear.
It includes no real detail on any topic and it only covers Facebook ads. There are far more other ways to make money online, including Instagram, Snapchat, chatbots, as well as platforms such as Google ads, Yahoo ads, and Bing ads. Additionally, there is Google shopping, which again is not mentioned in this course.
So what do I recommend? Checking out a real course, called eCom Elites that is regularly updated and costs 5 times less but includes over 150 videos on all the topics in this course plus all the topics that should have been included in Vince Wang Education, Dropshipping 101.
Franklin Hatchett, the course creator doesn't need to flaunt his wealth to sell a course, ultimately the course is worth the small investment of $197 so he doesn't need to do that.
