SMMA Boss Review: Michelle Andersen Course Worth $997?

Are you looking for an SMMA Boss review, the latest course created by online entrepreneur Michelle Andersen? If so, then you've come to the right place.

Today I'll be taking a look at what you get, what's inside, and ultimately whether it's worth $997, which is at the top end of the SMMA courses on the market today.

What is SMMA Boss?

SMMA Boss is an online course dedicated to helping social media marketing agencies flourish. It is designed by Michelle Andersen, a marketing specialist with more than 10 years of experience in this industry.

This program consists of more than 100 videos, mentorship and Q&A sessions. It is an all-in-one guide to operating a social media marketing agency with efficiency and ease.

One of the best deals included in SMMA Boss is that there are sales funnels included, ensuring that technical work is removed for students. However you may like to customize these before using, as everyone would be using the same funnels.

SMMA Boss is catered towards a wide range of people, including both beginners and seasoned professionals. Marketing specialists can utilise this program to enhance campaigns, while business owners can start learning about the potential with social media marketing. As it is such a thorough guide, no social media experience is required before enrolling in this course.

This online course can teach you the art of running ads and closing deals with clients. As social media is consistently used as a way to sell products online, SMMA Boss is incredibly relevant today, and will be for years to come.

SMMA Boss is designed to help people work remotely, while maintaining a steady flow of income. Michelle herself claims she was able to use her techniques to reduce her working hours from 60 a week to just 4, but this is a typical marketing ploy used from the book, 'The 4 Hour Work Week.'

As the potential to sell with social media is limitless, SMMA Boss is the course to check out.

Who is Michelle Andersen?

Michelle Andersen is an entrepreneur who started utilising social media back in 2010 to grow her business. Due to the 2008 recession, she was left unemployed and started her own landscaping company called Flourish.

She began using traditional marketing tactics that were expensive and barely attracted clients. She turned her attention to social media and struck gold, but with consistent hard work and determination. The end result was a 6-figure business.

Michelle spent more than $250,000 on marketing expenses. Having learned hard lessons herself, she decided to create SMMA Boss to educate people on the potential of social media to make money. She gained financial freedom and a work-life balance, which she wants to share with others.

Michelle has a Youtube channel, but for someone with social media skills, it's lacking a lot. There's only 367 subscribers, despite dozens of videos. Each video gets barely 50 views, and for someone who claims to be a social media expert, it definitely doesn't look like it.

What’s in SMMA Boss?

This online course is made up of 6 modules.

Module 1 goes through financial areas, such as pricing services and budgeting. There are videos on dialogue to attract and close customers. The end result is an agency.

In module 2, Michelle teaches students about the basics of Facebook Ads. Technical aspects such as pixels and pages are explored. She uses her 10 years of experience in this field to enrich the knowledge of those just starting out.

Module 3 goes through the concepts of digital marketing, specifically through social media. It gives a run-down of platforms and strategies that offer the highest conversions.

Module 4 is all about campaigning with Facebook ads to attract the right audience. There are hidden techniques to have the ads reach a broad audience, without spending a ton of money.

Module 5 has videos covering the creation of eye-catching ads that naturally attract audiences. There is an A-to-Z guide on making ads, making it perfect for beginners.

Module 6 goes through certain techniques to efficiently run ads. Micelle breaks down all the technical details and offers her tried and true strategies.

Additionally there is 3 bonuses on topics such as ManyChat, Instagram Growth and Lead Gen training. These are other avenues of social media marketing that you can use to your advantage.

This course also includes access to an SMMA Boss group, full of like-minded entrepreneurs. Facebook Ad specialists are available to address any concerns. At the time of writing this article, there were 842 members with an average of 19 posts in the last month, and 8 new members this week.

This is a small group, but if everyone was a paying member at $997, it just shows you how much money there is to be had creating a course, that's $839,474 in sales alone.

After some research it appears anyone can join this Facebook group without buying a membership, so it's fair to say that those members are mostly free-seekers jumping between business ideas trying to find something that works for them.

One of the most useful add-ons are the marketing funnels which come with instructions on editing. There are funnels for ecommerce and other businesses such as service ones. There are also scripts which are designed to help you close clients.

You can get a 14 day free trial for ClickFunnels.

How much does SMMA Boss cost?

SMMA Boss is available for $997. This includes the entire curriculum and monthly question and answer sessions with Michelle herself.

The original value of the whole package is apparently $16,481 but of course this is self-rated and was never actually sold at that price, making this course a great offer but still at the top end of SMMA training courses available online.

With the inclusion of funnels and access to Facebook Ads experts, you already have a lot of the work completed. There is a 3-month installation plan that comes in at $399 per month. This means paying an extra $200 for the course.

There is a 14-day money back guarantee for people who may not be satisfied with the course content however take note that you can only watch 40% of the content. Any more and the course refund policy is voided. Plus if you buy during a special offer sale, there are no refunds!

A free call with Michelle’s mentors can be conducted if you have any questions with SMMA Boss, but it's not actually with Michelle. As you find, with larger courses, they outsource the selling to third parties who are given a commission if you enrol.

Are there any testimonials for the course?

Check out these kind words from Kristina:

“I have found Michelle’s SMMA Boss extremely beneficial. I was able to become aware of the potential in my business by running ads. I highly recommend you join her SMMA course.”

Additionally you will find a large number of video testimonials on the sales page. These couldn't be independently verified as successful students, so exercise caution.

Final Verdict - SMMA Boss Review

It's a decent course by a person who clearly knows what they are talking about. This comes at a price and $997 is a lot these days when there's so much free resources on Youtube and other courses that cost half the price. You're effectively buying into Michelle Andersen's name and brand, hence the price.

I found the content to be fairly short, but straight to the point. It offers a lot across the modules, and the free funnel templates are an added bonus, but nothing amazing.

The Facebook group appears to be open for the public to join, but Michelle claims it's a $997 value getting access to this, but anyone can join. Michelle does post in here, but there are also administrators which seem to answer most questions on her behalf.

Additionally Michelle regularly claims personal coaching is included in the course, but this couldn't be further from the truth. What you actually get is a monthly Q&A session with ALL the other members of the course.

My Rating:

#1 Best SMMA Course

After reviewing over 25 different SMMA courses over the past 3 years I believe that the SMMA Blueprint (read review) is the best one. It offers over 100 videos on the entire process and is owned and operated by two guys that run a 7 figure agency. With the course costing a max of $795 (special offers regularly offered), it's much more affordable.
