I love the term ‘headhunter’ (not to be confused with Wikipedia’s definition) and I’ve used them myself many times to find jobs in foreign countries. Now with the help of Indeed’s latest startup, ‘Indeed Crowd‘ anyone can start their own headhunter agency and make money online by recommending candidates for top jobs.
A few months ago I came across a new startup by Indeed, a world famous Job board that pulls jobs from a number of different sources including their own.
They now allow anyone to become a recruitment agency or headhunter and you get paid a commission on any successful placements. You now get $10 per candidate match too, so if they get an interview but are unsuccessful you’ll still bag $10 per match.
So let’s say you know lots of people in different industries whom are looking for new jobs. You can browse the crowd portal, look at jobs, then put forward CV’s. If the candidate aces their interview and gets hired you can earn up to $5,000! Yes $5k for one referral. Most are around $1,500 to $3,000.
At the time of writing there is 1,012 jobs you can put people forward for.
Anyone can participate on Indeed Crowd but currently it’s only setup for jobs in United States so internationals like myself would struggle to use the platform at this time. Rumor has it they will be expanding soon if the initial offering is a success.
Lastly the rewards are paid out in the form of Amazon gift cards which is a shame but you can easily sell this on eBay for 90% of the value.
