Finding a winning product is vital to your one product store success. Many drop shippers find that ‘winning product’ on their first attempt, others take twenty or thirty products to find it.
With that said membership sites are popping up left right and center offering ‘winning products’ for a small monthly fee, usually around $17 – $47 per month. These websites share hot products with their subscriber base.
One of these websites is called Dropship Spy (dropship-spy.com).

I’d seen someone promoting their ‘free product idea of the week’ website in a Facebook eCommerce group so decided to take a look. While they offer one free product per week, for a weekly, monthly or yearly fee they offer a new product every few days.
They’ll also include an example Facebook ad, Aliexpress supplier, reviews scrapped from Aliexpress or Amazon for uploading into your own store (umm?), target niches and estimated costs/profits.
OK sounds interesting, I signed up for the $10 weekly plan. This gives you instant access to all previous products too. I joined in December and I got access to about 20 products.
The HUGE disappointment was the number of trademarked products they had on their membership. It doesn’t matter what anyone tells you re fake products but selling them will get you short term profits but the bottom line is you will get caught eventually.
The biggest roadblock selling these products is your payment merchant will cut you off pretty quick especially when chargebacks start to come through. Stripe and Shopify payments take a hard stance on trademark violation.
If that’s the risk you want to take, then go ahead. I wouldn’t that’s for sure.
Of the 20 products I could see, these were the trademark violations:
- Ricky & Morty Sweater
- Star Wars Backpack
- Spiralizer Kitchen Tool
- Plus dubious Nintendo games console.
The other products were the usual Aliexpress junk, you definitely don’t need and definitely aren’t winning products. Those that do buy these sort of products will complain daily for their $2.99 product.
Bottom line, dropship-spy.com was cancelled within a few hours of signing up.

Given how good the front end offer looked I was solely disappointed to see most products were fake or trademark violations. The other products were Aliexpress junk that were definitely not winners. Cancelled subscription pretty quickly.
