Patric Chan talks a big game, but in this unbiased CB Passive Income Review I’m going to show you what you get, whether it’s worth it, whether you can actually make any money and why you’ll be solely disappointed if you decide to buy the course.
CB Passive Income has been around for over 5 years and each year gets a minor upgrade so Patric Chan can rebrand his course such as version 5.0. Next year will be CB Passive Income 6.0 most likely.
Firstly CB Passive Income is not a scam, but it won’t work for everyone.
CB Passive Income Review Quick Fire
If you don’t want to sit through and read the entire review then you can learn why I recommend you don’t buy this course. Patric Chan knows how to sell himself and the course but fails to deliver on most of his promises. He’s a serial product launcher, similar to many Clickbank publishers that clearly have their own bank accounts at the forefront of their minds when creating such courses.
Aside from buying the course, you’ll spend more time and effort getting this outdated business model to work and anything you sign up for will only give more and more commissions to Patric Chan and his team of marketers on the backend.
If you want to learn more then I’d encourage you to keep reading.
Patric Chan Sells The Easy Part
Look, the sales page reads like a well oiled machine. You don’t need to do anything… so it seems.
You don’t need to..
- write or produce any content
- create any courses to give away
- create any products to sell
- write any sales letters
- pay for hosting or an autoresponder
- to send any emails at all
- provide any customer service or follow up
- research for what products or affiliate programs to promote
- learn internet marketing.
All you need to do is ‘ONE TASK’
The problem is, Patric Chan fails to tell you what that actually is. Until you’ve bought the course that is.
That part is the hardest of them all. Getting traffic.
If you’re reading this and you’ve never spent a dime on internet marketing before you might think that sounds easy. If you watched Patric’s sales video you might think it looks even easier. You couldn’t be more wrong.
Getting traffic is the hardest, most expensive part to any online business.
5 years ago when the course launched, things like Facebook Ads were dirt cheap. Now they are not.
In return, Patric will provide the funnel. You send your traffic to his squeeze pages and he’ll add them to his email lists and do the selling for you. You’ll then get commissions for any sales generated. It sounds too good to be true and that’s because it is.
Any internet marketer knows the money is in the list. So you should collect emails yourself, not give them to someone else. It appears Patric Chan is simply using CB Passive Income as a way to get more leads on his own list.
If you want to star your own list then you don’t need Patric Chan. Or his course.
If you’re looking to start a genuine internet marketing business then there are far better courses to learn from that actually teach you the entire process rather than bilking your money and giving you a one task dream that blatantly doesn’t work.
The bottom line is that Patric Chan failed to tell you that you need to spend a lot of money in paid advertisements and lots of free time to spend on this business model.
The course is confused, lost in a distant memory as on one hand they are trying to target newbies (an experienced marketer would never buy this course) yet fail to provide even the most basic training needed to succeed in this business model.
CB Passive Income Upsells
Patric Chan talks a big game on the sales page but it’s the backend upsells that will hit your bank account harder when going through the funnel.
You see, when you buy a life changing product such as CB Passive Income (lol) you are hit with the one time special offer that you must buy to use the software correctly. Without this miracle package you can’t use the original product effectively.
Without these addons, your product purchase is worthless.
If you choose to ignore those one click upsells you need to scroll to the bottom of the page and find the cleverly hidden link that says, ‘No thanks, I don’t want to wake up to free money in my account tomorrow.’
It’s a huge slap in the face in my opinion but Patric doesn’t seem to care.
In CB Passive Income you’ll get hit with a $97 up sell to get the ‘Pro’ version.
There is no such thing as push button software that makes money.
Another $47 per month addon allows you to add those leads to your own list.
You could do this for free with an Aweber account.. Why pay $47 a month for it?
Why There Are So Many Positive Reviews
Face it, if you bought CB Passive Income and found out how difficult it was to make money, you’ve got two options. You could try and get a refund that would likely be declined as you didn’t follow the steps correctly, or you could promote the course as an affiliate and refer two people to make your money back.
Unfortunately it’s easier for people to push this course as an affiliate and earn 50% of any sale and upsell.
In this industry you need to dig deep to find negative reviews for CB Passive Income.
If you can do that correctly you’ll see a familiar trend.
Those struggling are new internet marketers that were sold a dream and have wasted their hard earned cash driving traffic to Patric Chan’s offer.
Don’t end up like these people.
CB Passive Income Review
If you did decide to buy the course then this is the content you would receive access too.
There is a welcome module with three getting started checklists and some photos to view.
Then you’re straight into the training on how to drive traffic. Currently there are videos on Bing Ads, Solo Ads, Youtube Ads and Vimeo.
Unlike the sales page which is spoken by an American, Patric is quite difficult to understand.
You get access your Your Unique Links next which is your link to drive traffic too.
Inbox Pro Version is a setup guide for Aweber, Getresponse, Mailchimp, Sendlane and includes email templates, launch campaign, campaign training and the demon strategy campaign.
The Inbox pro version allows you to add leads you collect to your own list as well as Patric’s.
A section follows on Advanced Tracking.
Lastly is a link to a special bonus you can buy for $97, of course, another upsell.
CB Passive Income is a legitimate training course, but it lacks value and content. The real way to make money is to send traffic to Patric’s sales pages and then he’ll send them offers and you get paid a commission via Clickbank. It sounds too good to be true and that’s because driving traffic is hard and Patric fails to tell you anything about that during the sign up process.
Experienced marketers would never buy this product and beginners looking to start a real internet marketing business will probably give up after their first traffic campaign doesn’t earn any money.
If you want to learn how to start a geniune affiliate marketing business then you’re going to need a real course that shows you how to setup things properly. No fake BS and no false promises. You do have to spend time working on your business but you can make far more by doing it correctly.
The best course to learn how to do this is called Savage Affiliates (read review) and is by one of the most well known affiliate marketers in the world. You’ll learn everything form starting your own website, promoting with sales funnels, building affiliate sites and so much more.
