CartFlows is a sales funnel builder for WordPress that allows you to quickly build sales funnels, accept payments and then offer one click upsells. The best part is you retain full control of your site and there’s no limitations.
Readers familiar with my blog read last year how I saved $thousands by ditching Clickfunnels. Back then it was complex, requiring a few different tools. Cartflows makes the process much more simple.

What is CartFlows?
WordPress is one of the world’s largest content management platforms but it’s really basic when it comes to selling online. Woocommerce, a free plugin is great for selling online but you’ll agree with me when I say, their checkout process sucks donkey dick.
There’s absolutely no customization and the check out pages look awful on small screens. Yes you can buy additional plugins that allow for minor tweaks but they are expensive and often unsupported by developers who’ve disappeared.
Then came along platforms that allow you to create Woocommerce sales funnels. Most of these are hacked together with little no how and ultimately follow the same death as the Woocommerce plugins.
Then came alone two good friends, Adam and Sujay Pawar, the creator of many award winning themes. They wanted to create the best sales funnel plugin for WordPress the world had ever seen.
The platform of choice for 15,000 websites worldwide, creating sales funnels for everything from eCommerce, to marketing funnels to digital courses.
You can create your own sales funnels within minutes, 100% guarantee and no coding skills required.
Today I’ll give you a full review on what you can expect if you buy this platform.
CartFlows vs Clickfunnels Comparison
There’s no doubting that Clickfunnels is the most popular funnel building software in the world. This platform created by Russell Brunson and his team is well known, but also comes at a price most people dislike. It’s $97 for the basic plan and $297 for the ultimate plan.
The first major difference is the price. CartFlow’s costs the same yearly as 3 months on basic and 1 month on ultimate.
Money saving aside, Clickfunnels pages aren’t hosted on your own domain. You need to mask your own domain to each sales funnel which takes time and your content isn’t under your own control.
While it’s highly unlikely anything could happen to your data, if the price of Clickfunnels goes up, your data is stuck there. You have no choice but to keep using their platform.
Technically you don’t own your own sales funnels so if you get your account suspended or worse (banned) you’ll lose your funnels, data and probably your leads and any time spent on your funnels.
Another huge problem with Clickfunnels is the page builder, it’s clunky and dated. It has improved over the years but it’s annoying when you want to make a change only to realize there’s a limitation in their software package.
There is limited integrations with third parties. You’re at the mercy of the plugins offered by the team at Clickfunnels. While they have most of the common ones, as well as Zapier, if you want to use customization plugins or special upsells, you can’t.
CartFlows integrates with any platform you can install via WordPress, making it far more lucrative.
CartFlows vs ThriveArchitect Comparison
ThriveArchitect is a premium WordPress page builder available to purchase from the official website. It’s been one of the most popular WordPress plugins for years and lets most people create visually appealing pages within minutes.
It’s probably unfair to compare the two here as one focuses on building pages which are often used for landing pages or website pages. Cartflows goes one better and let’s you actually create sales funnels within WordPress.
One of the major red flags I’ve founded with ThriveArchitect is the mobile functionality is way off. Given most people use mobile or tablet’s these days, there’s nothing worse than your pages being unresponsive on mobile. CartFlows platform is designed with mobile functionality at the forefront of all user experiences.
CartFlows works with many different WordPress and Woocommerce plugins so you can completely customize your website further.
CartFlows vs Builderall Comparison
Builderall was always known to me as the poor mans Clickfunnels but has come a long way in the last few years. They are now one of the top competitors to Clickfunnels and if you’re looking for a cheaper hosted platform Builderall usually gets a mention.
They have similar issues to Clickfunnels in that your pages and funnels are hosted by a third party and aren’t technically your own. They could disappear at any time without warning. While it’s unlikely, it’s definitely something that could happen.
Another issue is that the Builderall drag and drop editor is clunky and isn’t responsive all the times. Want to customize something further? Unfortunately due to the limitations in the hosted SaaS platform you’re going to be out of luck.
Builderall is well equipped with third party integrations but CartFlows is compatible with thousands more plugins. If it’s compatible with WordPress or Woocommerce then you can install and use it alongside CartFlows.
CartFlows vs PayKickstart Comparison
Are you considering the difference between Paykickstart and CartFlows. Voted the #1 shopping cart and affiliate management platform, PayKickstart is a platform that allows anyone to start creating sales funnels and selling with 0% transaction fees.
They offer most people a free trial and is a Software as a Service meaning they host your funnels and data in the cloud. This means you don’t technically own your data and this could be problematic if you ever wanted to close your account.
Pages are built on their platform and you must mask your domain name to their hosting platform to get your funnels on a custom domain name. For most people this is fine but takes time and can cause issues using multiple funnels.
The price of paykickstart costs $29 per month for 5 products or $99 per month for unlimited products. All plans offer one click upsells and payment integrations. After 3 months on the professional plan, CartFlows would be much more cost effective.
Similar to other SaaS platforms, the page builder in PayKickstart has limitations and if you wish to customize your funnel further you’re limited to the features offered in the platform. CartFlows works on top of Woocommerce and WordPress, offering unlimited customization.
What Funnels Can You Create With CartFlows?
There are many different funnels you can create with CartFlows right out of the gate. You can use their free templates to create your own funnel within minutes.
Some of these funnel templates include:
- Free Giveaways, Consultations or Quotes
- Webinar List
- Lead Magnet’s
- Membership Sites
- 2 Step Tripwire Funnel
- Product Launches
- Client Applications
- Purchase Cancellation.
While these are some of the standard funnel templates available, you can of course use the blank editor and create your own funnel from scratch.
Does CartFlows Offer One Click Upsells/Downsells?
I’m glad you asked because this is one of the main reasons why entrepreneurs like me purchased CartFlows. I can confirm they do offer one click upsells and downsells without the customer re-entering their credit card or Paypal information.
Currently one click upsells is supported when using Stripe and Paypal only.
You can create ANY product or service and add this to your up or down sell sequence. You can have unlimited offers in your sequence.
How cool is that? This is a game changer for your business!
CartFlows Key Features
You will notice that CartFlows offers a free and pro version. Most of the features below require a pro plan which currently costs $299 per year. You can always sign up for the free plan and see if this suits your requirements or not. It also allows you to test the platform and see how well it integrates with your existing theme.
- Conversion optimized checkout
- One click order bumps
- Unlimited upsells & downsells
- Cart Abandonment
- A/B Split Testing
- Analytics & Tracking
- Custom Checkout Fields.
Below I’m going to look at each feature in detail and whether it’s a good or wasted feature.
CartFlows Optimized Checkout
The standard Woocommerce checkout is clunky and looks awful. The Clickfunnels and other premium SaaS providers require certain fields to be included as well as using their own pre-build checkout boxes.
CartFlows allows you to add laser focused checkouts that only ask for the essentials you need. If you’re selling a digital product, this might only be the checkout fields such as card holders name, card number, expiry and CVC field.
If you’re selling physical products you can collect addresses, again as detailed as you like. Want 2 address lines? You can add that. Want one? Well you can do that too.
You can add consumer guarantees wherever you want, as many as you like and make the checkout sleek and sophisticated. The checkout is responsive and looks great with any page builder template you decided to use.
One Click Order Bumps
One of the features Russell Brunson launched with Clickfunnels was his order bumps and since then many different funnel builders have incorporated this into their offerings. CartFlows is no different and allows you to add order bumps to any checkout page.
And not only are these order bumps a good way to increase your conversions by up to 10-30%, the ones on offer in this platform look freaking awesome. You’ve got a value figure as well as a sale price and you can customize the title, description and image.
It looks a lot better than those basic order bumps you might have seen on some hosted platforms.
Order bumps are perfect for selling complimentary products or extended warranties.
Unlimited Upsells & Downsells
As we discussed earlier you can create one click upsells and one click downsells with CartFlows. While you probably shouldn’t go overboard and confuse your consumer, you can add as many as you like with no limitations.
You can then link these products together so they all show up on your order confirmation screen.
Visitors don’t need to re-enter their credit card details.
Upsells are perfect for increasing your average order value and some examples include training addons, extended warranties, faster shipping, physical books etc.
CartFlows Cart Abandonment
One of the newest features launched by the team at CartFlows is cart abandonment which means if someone checks out and puts their email address in but fails to complete the checkout you can pass this information through to your CRM to trigger an email. You can customize the emails.
This is ground breaking and is usually only found on eCommerce platforms and even then they require additional paid applications to handle the process.
They even have reporting for recovered orders, lost orders, revenue received after a recovery.
You can win back many customers with these emails. You could then integrate these with Zapier and integrate with over 1000 other applications.
An example might be adding them to an email sequence or sending them to a sales team for follow up.
CartFlows A/B Split Testing
Another amazing feature recently launched by the team behind CartFlows is their A/B split testing which allows you to split test different headlines, descriptions, pricing, offers and more. If you can think it, you can split test it.
There’s no limitations with the software here. You can A/B split test anything.
It’s another great feature that will help a lot of people, myself included.
Analytics & Tracking
There’s nothing more annoying than when a platform doesn’t offer analytics or tracking of some sort. CartFlows have integrated their own stats allowing you to spot your highest performing offers and cull those weaker ones that aren’t performing.
You can always integrate with Google Analytics and any other software you use. We use LuckyOrange in my business and again you can add this.
There’s a custom scripts option which is available to both free and paid users for adding pixels and other tracking codes.
Custom Checkout Fields
Woocommerce checkout fields can’t be edited by default but they do offer a premium plugin for customizing them although it costs $99 to do so. Thankfully CartFlows have created a free feature that allows you to change the checkout fields.
You can be as streamlined or as detailed as you want. You can change or add as many as you want.
Want to collect a license key or a special code? Add it.
Want to collect personal details, delivery dates, social profiles? Well now you can.
Another new feature that was added in the last few weeks is their pre-checkout upsells which until recently weren’t available. You can now prompt your visitors into accepting or denying an upsell before they complete their checkout.
You’ve probably seen this as a cross sell on Shopify, so it’s great to see the feature introduced.
The team behind the software plugin have claimed the theme is designed to integrate with a wide range of themes and templates as well as page builders.
The templates for CartFlows are designed to work with:
- Beaver Builder
- Divi Builder
- Thrive Architect
I actually tried this with the Optimizepress page builder and it worked well. So that’s another one you could consider using.
How much does CartFlows cost?
You can currently get a free plan which will always be free of charge. This plan has limited features and to upgrade you’ll need to choose their pro plan which costs $299 per year.
A lot of people ask why this software includes a yearly fee and that’s because they employ a team of developers who are constantly updating and supporting the platform.
There’s nothing worse than buying software only to find it’s buggy and unsupported.
In the last year alone, the platform has been updated over 25 times! Amazing right?
What support does CartFlows offer?
CartFlows primarily offer email and ticket support via their website. To get the best support you need to be a pro member however free members will receive support and guidance too.
There is a well documented knowledgebase with answers to most questions. You can also watch the endless Youtube videos on how to perform various tasks.
Also as this is a WordPress plugin, they have a listing on WordPress.org as well as a support page.
There is a forum here which seems to be fairly active with responses in 12-24 hours. There is also a reviews page and the plugin has 40 positive reviews, 0 neutrals and 0 negatives. For a WordPress plugin that’s pretty incredible.
CartFlows Final Thoughts
It’s hard to think of a better WordPress plugin that offers funnel building software for only $299 per year. They also offer a free plan so you can test everything out to ensure it works with your WordPress theme too. You can use your own domain name, your own web hosting and you own the data 100%, no one else does.
New features such as A/B split testing, cart abandonment and easy template integrations make this platform one of the best I’ve seen. Add to the fact you don’t need to deal with clunky unresponsive page builders which most hosted SaaS platforms offer.
You can integrate with any plugin that works with Woocommerce and WordPress, making this a customizers dream.
I am very happy with my purchase.
CartFlows Coupon Discount Codes
There is no CartFlows discount coupon codes so don’t be fooled into clicking those websites claiming to offer one. They will lie to you and simply send you to the official sales page while stuffing their cookie in your browser to get a commission. That is fraud.
If you purchase CartFlows you get access to premium training as well as the best support team.
I hope you enjoyed my CartFlows review and if you wish to sign up you can do so here.
CartFlows is an amazing piece of software for creating WordPress funnels. Stop paying thousands yearly for hosted SaaS platforms.
