eBay drop shipping courses have become a thing of the past, with course creators focusing on Shopify, Clickfunnels and Aliexpress. But can you really make money with eBay drop shipping in 2019? Broke to Boss Girl says you can so today we’re going to checkout her course.
My first ever business venture was eBay drop shipping, selling DVD’s from a supplier. It was a ball ache to manually import 2000 listings and to be fair I made some money. That was until twelve other people started doing the same thing.
Every day sellers would simply lower their price by 1 cent to under cut their competitors as most buyers were searching based on price. It became a game of cat and mouse, who could lower their prices the lowest and still make money.
For me, eBay drop shipping died a long time ago. When combining VAT (if supplier is overseas), eBay fees, Paypal fees, supplier fees as well as the time and effort in listing products I quickly moved on to eCommerce stores.
Who is Broke To Boss Girl?
But for some including Broke To Boss girl, real name; Becky, surname undefined, believe you can successfully drop ship on eBay UK and make money and for 99GBP you can learn how to do the same too.
My main concern is her six months experience and then launching a course in an already highly saturated drop shipping market and if it was doing so well wouldn’t you want to keep it a secret?
Her Youtube channel does offer lots of value and with a large subscriber base she’s obviously well liked and provides good insights into the world of eBay drop shipping in the United Kingdom.
Broke To Boss Girl Review
The course is hosted on the Teachable platform and offers high quality videos. As of right now there is well over 50 videos across 12 modules and there is also a few bonus modules too.
Module 11 is about using eBay USA for drop shipping and module 12 is about drop shipping from Home Depot but Becky lives in the UK so unsure if these modules are even tested or just thrown in at the end.
The current modules are as follows:
- Section 1: Introduction
- Section 2: Fundamentals
- Section 3: Setting up eBay business
- Section 4: Product sourcing
- Section 5: Listing products
- Section 6: eBay drop shipping software
- Section 7: Profitability
- Section 8: Processing orders
- Section 9: Customer service
- Section 10: Managing eBay account
- Section 11: eBay USA
- Section 12: Kmart drop shipping
- Coming Soon: Home Depot drop shipping.
I really liked her style of videos, you can tell she is passionate about what she is doing. You don’t find that in many eCommerce drop shipping courses these days.
If you’ve never used or setup an eBay business before then you’ll learn how to do this in the first two modules. For those curious on her video etiquette then you’ll be pleased to note she offers a ‘free preview’ on section two.
Section four included her actual 5 suppliers along with advice on how to find and use other UK suppliers. It would be fair to say this course is targeted towards people based in the United Kingdom.
Section six included some cool software for aiding your business, two platforms I hadn’t come across before including, Skugrid and Hydra Lister and another price tracker called Hustle Got Real.
The rest of the course offered short sections on each topic but did pack quite a lot of value, you don’t need to be bombarded with content especially if you’re just starting out but I think intermediates will find it’s quite basic.
If you want a refund you must request within 14 days and less than 30% of the course.
It’s a good cheap course on drop shipping with eBay and provides the basics on how to start drop shipping with the platform. Personally I think the days of making serious money with drop shipping on eBay are numbered as you’re up against all those chinese sellers who can import in bulk for a few dollars and sell thousands. When you take your suppliers cost price and add your own margin plus nearly 10% in eBay and Paypal fees it’s nearly impossible to make any money.
I think if you’re thinking of starting a business online you should use Shopify and Facebook Ads. Courses such as eCom Elites (read review) that are the same price are worth considering.
