Pokemon Go is hot right now and if you don’t know what it’s all about then you’ve probably living under a rock or in a country with no internet. If you need a refresher on what exactly Pokemon Go is then here it is,
Pokémon Go is a game that uses your phone’s GPS and clock to detect where and when you are in the game and make Pokémon “appear” around you (on your phone screen) so you can go and catch them. As you move around, different types of Pokémon will appear depending on where you are and what time it is. The idea is to encourage you to travel around the real world to catch Pokémon.
Right now, thousands of people are making a fortune through Pokemon Go, so I decided to create an article showing you 7 ways you can get started making money from Pokemon Go.
7. Sell Power Banks
A power bank is a portable battery that allows you to charge your cellphone on the move. If you’ve ever been to Japan you’ll see everyone has one of these power banks in their pocket. A man from New Zealand bought the domain, pokemongo.co.nz and decided to start selling power banks for $35 that he was buying from China for $5 each.
A nice and quick way to make some money with the right promotion although buying a trademarked domain isn’t a wise move. Regardless if he can sell a couple hundred power banks, he’s doing well.
6. Create Youtube Videos To CPA Offers
I recently did a feature length article on this exact topic which you can checkout here. You’ll create Youtube videos which offer an insight into Pokemon Go hacking, tips and tricks and then provide a link in the description to a CPALead affiliate offer. If you target the right audience your video could end up with millions of views which means millions of free traffic too.
Many internet marketers get caught up in the moment and turn this promotional method into pure spam and scams. Offer value to your visitors rather than redirecting them to a Google page after they’ve completed your offer/s.
5. Setup a Poke Stop or Gym
Pokemon Go allows anyone to create a Poke Stop or Gym and if you own a small business doing so can ensure a ton of people stop by your business. You could offer them a discount such as 20% off their meal, a free gift or something similar. So what if you don’t own a business? Then market the service to businesses, help them setup a Poke Stop at their business and charge them a premium for the service.
I know my good friend who owns a cafe in town would love extra customers, youngsters with disposable income plaaying Pokemon Go would buy his drinks if they stopped there but he doesn’t have a clue about technology and definitely doesn’t play Pokemon Go so I could offer to help him. Apply that same logic to the millions of businesses around the world.
4. Sell Pokemon Accounts
Bit of a grey area here but definitely a way to make money, currently there is a whole section on eBay of different level accounts up for grabs. You could act as a middle-man and buy accounts from local people and then on sell them on auction sites such as eBay. You’ll probably want to remove your username from the auction as many Pokemon Go hunters will be out to try and get your account banned.
Currently on eBay there are accounts ranging from $30 to $400 for a level 34 account. Not a bad way to make a quick buck.
3. Sell Unofficial Pokemon Clothing
While you should definitely stay clear of putting the Pokemon logo on a t-shirt and offloading it, you can definitely put the word ‘Pokemon’ in standard font on a t-shirt and pass it off as your own. This would be a good little money earner and by using a t-shirt drop ship fulfillment company such as Sun Frog T-Shirts you can get started today.
To make your designs even better then head over to Fiverr and hire someone for $5 to create a custom design. Add this design to a whole range of clothing from t-shirts to hoodies and sell them on eBay, your own website or via the Sun Frog custom store offering.
2. Create A Niche, Let Others Promote It
CPA Lead is a notorious cpa file locker network that offers some of the best payouts on incentive surveys, pin submits and app installs. They have a feature called ‘niches’ where you can create an offer, such as ‘Get Free Poke Coins Here’ and host this on their servers. Other marketers can then promote your niche and you’ll get a 15% revenue share on their earnings.
CPA Lead has a large number of niches (not just Pokemon Go) but is definitely the most popular niche lately. You can create a niche within 15 minutes if you know basic HTML and CSS. Some niches have 600+ promoters so they are probably making lots without actually doing any marketing!
1. Promote Uber To Drive People Around
If you haven’t used Uber or Lyft then you’ve been living in the dark ages as these apps are replacing the traditional taxi driver business with GPS technology and private drivers. Every person you refer to Uber and takes a ride earns you $20 in credit. While you can’t cash out that credit you can definitely resell your account or take mates home and collect the cash.
Pokemon Go players are always on the move and if you can put a free $20 ride in front of them most will jump at the chance to get a free ride around town catching Pokemon. Once they’ve taken a ride, you can take your free ones. I recently read about a guy who racked up over $100,000 in free rides, now you can do the same thanks to Pokemon Go.
